Mark Baumann has a 37 year history in the Industrial Tool & Die field that began in 1973 as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker earning his A.S. degree in Industrial Mechanics. After building the foundation for his career, Mark became the manager of a large tool and die shop for a prominent southeast Wisconsin manufacturer before retiring in 2009. While maintaining his long career, Mark explored other interest which include starting an entrepreneurial marketing business, and in 2005, consulting for a nationally known legal service corporation.
Mark's personal interests include firearms and Sporting Clay for the past 20 years. In 2009 these interests prompted him to take the National Rifle Association Basic Pistol course, then stepping up and completing the Advanced Pistol training at the nationally recognized Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in 2010. Now he participates in International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) events.
Over and above his business and personal interests, Mark has a deep concern for people, as evidenced by his work in counseling recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, both in the community and in the county jail system. He also has served within his church on the Board of Directors and as the head Trustee for almost a decade. Mark’s faith in God and concern for people focus into a vision he holds for a way he and like-minded people can care for the safety and welfare our communities. His vision is based on the story of Gideon in the Bible, Judges chapters 6-8. In October 2012, Mark’s vision began to materialize.
